Technology That Saves Energy &
Keeps Fish Alive

We believe the low-maintenance, solid state Pure Oxygen System, with it's Nano Bubble Technology, will revolutionize your fishing by keeping bait livelier and the fish in your livewells alive and fresh.

Do away with all the extra hardware and storage required by current systems. The Pure Oxygen System requires no tanks, pumps, hoses or tablets. Lightweight and portable, the systems can even incorporate their own battery power source.

They use very little energy compared to standard aeration systems in place today.

How It Works
Incorporating an extremely efficient system, the Pure Oxygen Systems separate the water molecules into their elementary parts: Hydrogen and Oxygen.

The lighter hydrogen molecule rapidly leaves the water and dissipates into the atmosphere. The heavier oxygen molecule remains suspended until it dissolves into the water. In fact, the O2 bubble is so tiny, it cannot break the surface tension of the water.

As a result, the percentage of dissolved oxygen increases dramatically using less energy!

A Little Science
Oxygen has six valence electrons and two “holes,” allowing it to bond with two hydrogens. Oxygen’s other four valence electrons, in two pairs, are not bound to any other atoms (these are called unshared pairs of electrons).

Oxygen shares electrons with hydrogen, but pulls just a little harder on the electrons than hydrogen. This means the electrons are just a little closer to the oxygen than the hydrogen (this is called a polar covalent bond).

In a covalent bond, each electron does not really belong to a single atom--it belongs to both simultaneously, and helps to fill each atom’s outer “valence” shell of electrons, a situation which makes the bond very stable.

Even though a water molecule as a whole is electrically neutral (the positive and negative charges balance), the ends of the molecule where the hydrogen nuclei are (which contain only a proton) have a semi positive charge and the ends of the molecule by the unshared electrons have semi negative charge. The positively charged ends on one water molecule are attracted to the negatively charged ends on another water molecule (this is called hydrogen bonding). The mini process breaks this bond and the oxygen's bond to the hydrogen molecule.

The result is an efficient process of keeping oxygen in your water.

Livelier Bait & Fish
Fish typically require a dissolved oxygen concentration over 50% to remain healthy. Levels above 110% or below 20% can cause high mortality rates. Temperature has the largest effect on the waters ability to maintain an adequate dissolved oxygen level.

Our Pure Oxygen Systems use advanced sensor technology to increase or decrease the frequency and duration of their output to maintain the highest yet safest dissolved oxygen level.

Unlike power hungry and noisy aerators, our 100% solid state Pure Oxygen Systems make no noise and switch on/off as necessary.
